Military Maintenance IETM Application
The Enigma E-IML (Integrated Maintenance Logistics) solution is more than the traditional Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM). It provides soldiers with all of the diagnostic, service and repair information needed to support a combat vehicle or weapon system while in the field.
Soldiers now have the support information they need, in the context they need it, to effectively complete maintenance tasks in a timely manner. This will accelerate diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures, improving mean time to repair.
The Enigma E-IML Solution provides military maintenance centers with a single, integrated, environment for maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, forms and procedure manuals, while fully integrating this technical content into existing logistics and management systems.
After a soldier enters a vehicle's serial number or asset number into the system, the E-IML will immediately identify all relevant technical data and deliver the exact parts and service information required to upgrade or repair a specific vehicle or weapon system.
The E-IML will also automatically diagnose fault codes from an on-board system and immediately navigate to the appropriate maintenance procedure, instantly delivering service and repair instructions and parts information.
This gives soldiers a complete view of the required troubleshooting, maintenance and repair tasks that need to be performed, with instructions formatted according to a soldier's level of proficiency.
Integration into a configuration management system enables a technician to view and search information only related to that particular equipment's configuration. A crew, from any location, is then able to begin maintenance processes such as PMCS (Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services), check parts availability, automate part requisitions, store vehicle faults and schedule higher-level maintenance directly from this maintenance information.
A single deployment issues multiple formats of an E-IML for the web, DVD, paper and wireless devices. The E-IML solution is accessible via PC, laptop, tablet and PDA.
