| The Uptime Blog Update: Faster Fixes for Uncommon Fault Codes |
|
What's the key to improving customer service and turnaround times?
In a recent post on our Uptime blog, we reference the experience of a field service manager, who found that most of his team's service calls involved fault codes that occur very infrequently. This reinforces the fact that field technicians must often fix problems for which they have little experience or documentation. Not surprisingly, those uncommon fault code service calls take longer to resolve, and are at the heart of scheduling delays and blown response times.
We believe the real key to improving customer service is not faster repairs for well-known problems but a more consistent approach to all problems.

| Report from Singapore on the Aviation MRO Industry |
|

Asher Gabbay, our globe-trotting VP of EMEA and APAC Operations, was one of several Enigma staff who attended the recent MRO Asia aviation maintenance conference in Singapore. Though there seemed to be slightly fewer attendees compared to previous years, and much discussion about the downturn in the global economy, the conference was worthwhile.
InService Job Card Generator drew a lot of attention from attendees. It is clear that airlines and MROs view the ability to provide intelligent job cards quickly and easily as a key component to accelerating maintenance. Several airlines were seeking even greater automation, and took great interest in InService MRO. In this regard, it was nice to have important customers, like KLM at the show that can verify the cost reductions and productivity improvements that are available through advanced technology.

| Webinar: Automating Job Card Generation for Aviation MRO |
|
Tuesday, November 25
10:00am eastern time (3:00pm UTC/GMT)
Register here.
For airlines and MRO shops, the generation of job cards is usually a manual task that involves searching for data in multiple systems, sorting the information, then copying and pasting it into the proper job card format. This process is both time-consuming and error prone, which slows down the maintenance and repair of aircraft and engines.
If your organization still produces job cards the old-fashioned way—by copying and pasting information from different systems—then tune into our next webinar, "Automating Job Card Generation." Learn how the Enigma InService Job Card Generator streamlines and automates that process.
Register for this webinar to find out how the Enigma InService Job Card Generator solution enables airlines and MROs to reduce maintenance errors and save thousands of hours of manual labor by automating job card creation.
