Enigma CEO to Speak at MRO Americas Conference

Enigma will be sharing a booth with Oracle at next month's MRO Americas conference, to demonstrate Enigma's integration with the Oracle cMRO solution.

When: April 21-23
Where:  Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center, Grapevine/Dallas, TX

In addition, Enigma CEO Jonathan Yaron will be a speaker on a panel discussion called "Regulatory Compliance in the Digital Age":

Most FAA rules and regulations were written in expectation of a paper documentation and approval environment. Yet, in an era of e-documentation, e-reporting, laptops, PDAs, Internet, etc., technology has overtaken the paper trail. How can airlines and MRO shops enjoy the benefits of moving to an electronic environment while complying with the FARs? What are the issues and what can each party do to assure safe and efficient aircraft operations? Come hear what the experts have to say about the intersection of digital technology and regulatory requirements.

  • Moderator: Mark Yerger, Vice President, Engineering, Federal Express
  • Carol Giles, Manager, Aircraft Maintenance Division, FAA
  • Jonathan Yaron, President and CEO, Enigma, Inc.

The Uptime Blog Update: Innovation in a Recession

A recent article in BusinessWeek lists the fifty best companies in the S&P 500: the BusinessWeek 50. The list was developed by measuring various financial criteria for each company as compared to their peers in the same industry sector. (The idea was to identify the best companies rather than the hottest industries.)

The top 50 companies “created products or services dramatically better and cheaper than anything offered by rivals” and “changed the rules of engagement in their industries.” The author references a 2002 McKinsey survey and clearly advocates for innovation, concluding that “recessions are historically times when companies make the biggest competitive strides---or fall behind.” The challenge however, is to know which innovations a company should fund...

The aftermarket parts and service business is lucrative (service parts represent only 25% of most OEM’s revenues, but about 75% of profits). It's also fiercely competitive; OEMs control less than 40% of the service parts business.

To help OEMs counter the competition and boost service parts sales, Oracle and Enigma offer a joint solution that makes it easier for their customers, sales and service personnel to identify and order the right parts.

Join this webinar to find out how Oracle and Enigma deliver a complete solution that provides OEMs with:

  • Consolidated parts catalogs, maintenance manuals, technical specs and sales collateral---pre-filtered according to serial number, product line or configuration/trim package to enable fast and accurate parts lookup, updates and ordering
  • Up-to-date service and parts information---whether working online or offline---allows customers, dealers and distributors to find critical information and transact business in the service bay, on the road and in the field
  • E-business capabilities---enable seamless interaction between key business applications such as dealer management systems, ERP, configuration management and inventory/logistics systems, allowing users to rapidly and accurately locate and procure service parts.
