A&D Manufacturing Partnerships

 

Aerospace and defense contractors/ OEMs that manufacture weapons systems and platforms for the Department of Defense (DOD) are often required to provide an automated maintenance and logistics capability as part of their offering. Enigma partners with OEMs during the product development phase of these platforms, allowing them to implement a Logistics, Maintenance and Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) solution for their DOD offerings.

 

Qualified A&D Manufacturing Partners may use the Enigma Integrated Maintenance and Logistics (E-IML) solution free of charge for up to one year during the development phase of a project. During this time the OEM will work with Enigma to integrate and embed the E-IML into their platform offering for delivery and evaluation by the DOD. At the end of the free software period or when a contract is awarded for initial production or fielding of the platform (whichever comes first) the A&D Manufacturing Partner agrees to a long-term license agreement with Enigma.

 

A&D Manufacturing Partners can now deploy a state-of-the-art, industry-proven technology that meets the IETM and Logistics requirements of the DOD with very little up-front investment. By using a commercial off-the-shelf solution (COTS) that is tailored to troubleshooting, maintenance and support, OEMs avoid the cost of developing and maintaining a custom solution and reduce the risk to program delivery.
