Business Operations

The Business Operations role will be responsible for developing and managing the strategies and processes that improve our business performance and fuel revenue growth. This role will dual report into Enigma’s Operations team.

About you:

-You are an organized and strategic team player who’s equally at ease analyzing pipeline metrics and drafting campaign copy. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

-You have 5+ years of experience managing marketing and/or sales operations

-You’ve worked with a sales organization, and sellers (enterprise preferred), and know how to keep everyone on the same page executing against a sales strategy

-You’ve either developed or had significant input on marketing/sales strategy, and have built out models showing anticipated and actual performance

-You’ve managed a sales pipeline and CRM, e.g., through Salesforce

-You have experience with marketing automation systems, such as Marketo, Hubspot, or Eloqua

-You’re willing to get your hands dirty and have a “get things done” attitude

-You know how to gather and analyze data, and transform data into concrete insights and recommendations

-You’re a strong writer, with demonstrated success producing and running inbound campaigns

-You’ve managed projects end-to-end, collaborating across teams to deliver results on time

-You have strong interpersonal skills and people are excited to work with you

The role and opportunity:

This is a new role at Enigma that will be critical to the expansion of our business and will be the glue that keeps our Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams aligned and executing with high performance. You will manage our marketing and sales operations function, including refining our marketing and sales operations strategy, owning our marketing and sales technology stacks, and managing marketing and sales operations and coordination. You’ll develop and execute inbound campaign strategies to grow our pipeline, as well as manage our sales pipeline and making sure our Marketing and Sales teams are generating the right leads and talking to the right clients.


-Lead Marketing and Sales operations, making sure both teams are executing against overall Enigma company strategy

-Develop and model marketing and sales strategies and the actual impact of changes to target selection, pipeline management, and organization composition

-Manage the end-to-end sales pipeline from marketing leads down to deal flow and sales execution

-Work proactively with Sales to track and measure all stages of the sales life cycle, from the top of the pipeline to win-loss analysis and other reporting

-Help evaluate opportunities through research and knowledge enrichment of key accounts and deals

-Help develop our sales and marketing operations roadmap, identify new opportunities, and evaluate operational efficiencies and new technologies to improve our teams’ productivity and outcomes

-Manage critical sales and marketing systems, particularly Marketo and Salesforce, ensuring data quality by making sure everyone is using those systems to the fullest

-Manage all revenue lead generation and lead scoring and own marketing campaign execution to support lead generation, particularly via email

-Create opportunities for synergies across the marketing, sales and business ecosystem on topics such as developing business models, organizational design and cross-functional initiatives to drive long term business sustainability
