BLM Non-Energy Leasable Minerals
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) provides geocoded records of non-energy leasable cases, derived from Legal Land Descriptions (LLD) within their Mineral and Land Record System (MLRS). Each record includes a unique case identifier, the specific type of non-energy leasable activity, and detailed geographic attributes such as meridian, township, range, and section, which are geocoded using the Public Land Survey System (PLSS) and BLM Cadastral data.

Mineral Supply Chain Sourcing Exposure
A procurement analyst at a battery or fertilizer manufacturer maps which BLM-administered parcels are actively producing a specific mineral commodity, and whether those leases are in good standing, to assess upstream supply concentration risk before signing long-term offtake agreements.
Land and Mineral Rights Underwriting
A title insurance underwriter evaluating a property transaction checks whether any non-energy mineral leases encumber the subject parcel, when those leases became effective, and whether they are still pending or have been disposed, to determine what rights may be severed from surface ownership.
KYB Verification for Mining Operators
A fintech lender extending credit to a mining company verifies that the company holds active, producing BLM mineral leases of sufficient acreage to support the collateral value claimed in the loan application, and checks whether any leases are in a pending or lapsed disposition that would reduce asset coverage.
