Approve more and prove more

Onboard and run KYB on any US business, through a single integration. Approve more of the real ones, and know which to trust with your business.

Approve more

Product Identify

Confirms a business is real and resolved in Enigma's graph, with the state match and web presence behind it. Built for coverage and approval rates, where the goal is to clear every legitimate business and let nothing fake through.

Common in marketplaces, programmatic onboarding, and high-volume sign-up flows.

Prove more

Product Verify

Adds the full Secretary of State record, including domestic registration status and the corporate detail a regulated program is held to. Built for teams legally responsible for verification.

For decisions that have to stand up to a regulator, where the detail is table stakes.

What we check

The evidence behind every verification

Enigma verifies a business against the public record that proves it exists and the independent signals that prove it operates, then returns a resolved identity you can act on.

Far past the registration. The public record a business leaves across agencies.

Why Enigma

Built to find the real business and decide faster

It finds the business others miss

Enigma matches on more than a legal entity name. Brand names, trade names and DBAs, operating names, and multiple addresses all resolve to the right business. A lookup on "Instacart" should not return a stranger; it should resolve to the legal entity behind it and the owners and officers behind it.

It decides at onboarding, not days later

Decisions in seconds, typically about 1.5s, with no human in the loop. You get a decision when the business applies, not after a 24 to 48 hour review window where a legitimate customer is most likely to drop off.

When a review is needed, the evidence is already assembled

When a case needs a human, Enigma hands the reviewer the source material instead of making them gather it. Manual review is faster, and every decision is sourced.

Best coverage for the US

Enigma is built to be the strongest provider for the US, not everything everywhere.

Verification tiers

A business can file its own registration. It can't process its own card transactions.

Enigma grades how independently each business can be corroborated, from self-reported records up to the signals it cannot fake: card activity, government records, verified locations, review history. The more independent evidence, the more of the real business you see, and the more you can approve with confidence.

Learn more about verification tiers
Tier 1 Low

Self-reported records: the registration and EIN a business files for itself. The market-standard check, and the floor Enigma builds on.

  • State registration
  • EIN/TIN
Tier 2 Moderate

At least one independent third-party signal beyond self-reported records.

  • Active website
  • Third-party reviews
Tier 3 High

Multiple independent, hard-to-fake signals with time depth.

  • Verified locations
  • Total review count
  • Card transactions
  • Has government record
  • Real review history
How it fits

Plug it in. Keep what works

Enigma is built to be pluggable, not a closed platform. It runs cleanly through the orchestration layer you already use and sits naturally as the US primary in a waterfall, with other vendors covering international where you need them, which keeps integration cost low.

For agent-driven workflows

Ground your agents in what is real

AI agents make confident errors about businesses when they run on self-reported data. Enigma gives an agent the same corroborated business identity a human reviewer would use, available over MCP, so automated onboarding and risk workflows decide on ground truth instead of guesses.
